"I fell in love with the process early on. Being an undersized player throughout my career, I understand the importance of being fundamentally sound and having a high attention to detail, so I could maximize my ability."
Since graduating from Fallston High School in 2008, Chris Pappas has been coaching and teaching the game of basketball to players of all ages. He played an integral role in establishing the Skills Academy Basketball Camp alongside Patterson Mill Head Coach Jeroud Clark. Coach Pappas had a two year playing career at Harford Community College and was named to the NJCAA All Academic Team before transferring to the University of Maryland, where he was given the opportunity to tryout as a walk on. After graduating in 2013, he knew he wanted to put his love for the game to use. He joined the coaching staff at Patterson Mill High School as the Head JV and an Assistant Varsity Coach. In his first year, the Team won it's first Regional Championship in school history. Following the completion of the 2014-15' season, Pappas pursued a position at Under Armour, and founded Court Prowess Basketball. He began working with Baltimore, MD area athletes and continues to develop and fine tune his approach to player development as a Certified I'm Possible Skill Enhancement Trainer. In September of 2018 Chris resigned from Under Armour to commit to his training and athletes full time.
"Very thorough coach! He is patient, meticulous, and understands the game of basketball. I would recommend Chris any day!"
